The Conversation Company

Companies are conversations. Big talks, casual chats, monologues, debates and silences.
We focus on creating space for the often neglected chats that matter both for the team spirit - and the bottom line.
No training training. We don't train. We work with you. We like to keep things real when it comes to team and personal development. Instead of standard training, we jump right into your actual challenges as they happen.
Feelings can't be left at the factory door. And let’s be real, feelings matter. They’re what can hinder and drive a team’s success.

Good enough is enough. Our goal is to help leaders to handle things better on their own next time. It's not the best business model, but that's what we do.

About
My name is Csaba Kötcsei ('Chaba'). I was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary.
I have held senior leadership positions in the digital communications space for over 20 years. I have started new business lines, expanded agencies into new geographies, have built teams from scratch, merged them, split them, and restarted again.

I was the only one from my university who snagged a job in media, thrilled by the blend of creativity and organized chaos (and the bonus of free pizza after 8 p.m.). Later on, I co-founded Budapest's first SpeedDating business, which resulted in thousands of one-night stands, hundreds of weddings, and plenty of kids. The report on the subsequent separations is still pending. I also took a turn as a taxi driver, where my van got hit by a pedestrian. I’ve lived in Switzerland, Finland, and France throughout my journey.
Beyond LinkedIn, I'm a proud dad of three kids in a blended family, and we have a dog who's racked up more Instagram followers than anyone else in the house. I’m President of the Skylarks Budapest Toastmasters club, where I've snagged first-place wins multiple times at the club, country and regional levels. I'm an ICF-certified team coach and volunteer my time to help school boards with leadership topics. Plus, I launched the Case Room project to provide a safe environment for leaders to share their stories and tackle everyday challenges together.
Growing up in a family of displaced doers and diplomats, I'm passionate about building meaningful connections among people from all walks of life, whether on teams, in troops, or part of tribes.
